Maria is a master hat maker! Her work is original, creative and fabulously rendered. She makes her hats out of the highest quality materials and puts loving details into each one. The fabrics and trims she uses are luxurious and soft to the touch. I love my hat so much! It’s easy to shape, packs up nicely and is extremely comfortable to wear. I highly recommend and vouch for the quality of her products!

Maria took time to discuss colours, materials and measurements, and I really enjoyed the creative process. My hat arrived very quickly in a delightful package. It’s so well made - it feels like a luxury item! I have many hats but this hat takes it to a different level — the feel, the fit, the quality, the beauty, and the attention to detail. I can see how this could become an addiction! Also, she makes well-fitting masks — with that rare combination of excellent breathability and thickness. I ordered a second one because they are so comfortable to wear. I will wash them carefully to preserve the beautiful colours — I actually found out about Maria when I asked a stranger where she got her gorgeous mask. Thanks Maria!

I have been buying Maria's hats since the early 90's and each hat is made with quality and attention to detail. Her creations are far beyond a traditional hat...and I consider them art pieces. Every time I purchase a new piece, I receive tons of compliments on the style and originality. Maria is the most talented milliner I have ever come across (even in my travels to Montreal, Tokyo and Paris) I haven't found hats that are so unique with such gorgeous fabric and details. I have many of Maria's hats and as a regular person, yes you can find many opportunities to wear these works of art. Are you ready to stand out and get tons of compliments? I've worn my hats to a wedding, an engagement reception and a gala. Absolutely affordable given the details and creativity. She also makes them for children.
